AccuCare accepts reimbursement from Medicaid, Medicare, Options’ Program, veterans’ benefits, workers compensation, and long-term care insurance. We also accept private pay: a deposit of the amount equal to one week of projected services (amount based on your anticipated schedule) is required prior to beginning care. After that, you will be billed on a bi-weekly basis. You approve the bill and then pay by check or credit card (over the phone, via an emailed invoice, or through the mail).
Your overall well-being, safety, and satisfaction with our service is our primary goal; it is critical to every single member of our organization to achieve positive outcomes for all clients. All home health professionals are supervised by a registered nurse (RN) clinical manager. Our Director of Nursing (DON) and Administrators monitor company-wide operations to ensure staff performance, client safety and satisfaction. We also voluntarily submit to rigorous quality and safety audits by The Joint Commission (TJC). Joint Commission standards focus on state-of-the-art performance improvement strategies that help healthcare organizations continuously improve the safety and quality of care, which can reduce the risk of error or low-quality care.
AccuCare carefully screens and hires the best caregivers in the industry. We require a recent physical exam, verified work history with at least 2 references and all staff must submit to a background check. All home care professionals undergo an in-depth interview and onboarding process, written exams, skill assessments and ongoing training, supervision, and in-services. But most significantly, our team members must demonstrate a true passion for caring. We only send caregivers to your home that we would want to work in our own.

Within 24 Hours we can schedule an assessment to begin the process. We attempt to begin all services as soon as possible. Service initiation is dependent on the level and scope of services needed, the short answer is, it varies.
First, your registered nurse (RN) or schedule coordinator visits you to assess your individual needs. We work with you, your family and your physician to create an individualized plan of care for you. If applicable, we also work in conjunction with your Service Coordinator. We identify the AccuCare health care professionals whose skills, experience, and personality type best fit your needs. Your assigned registered nurse (RN) orients your caregiver on your plan of care and we begin our process with the first day in the home. We monitor the performance of our staff, assess your satisfaction with our services, and continue to update the plan of care as needed through ongoing Supervisory Visits by our registered nurses. If you are unhappy with our staff, we will assign you another qualified professional. Our process is ongoing and constantly evolving, but the outcome we strive for remains unchanged – provide you with the best experience home care can offer.
